January 31st, 2024 – Nine weeks and four days ago, our nation faced one of the greatest struggles it has ever seen. Terrorists calling themselves the “Grozovian Peoples Republic”, assaulted our society and disrupted our way of life. And nearly Seven Weeks later, the traitorous republic surrendered, leaving in their wake nearly 20,000 casualties. Populating those seven weeks were tales of honor, courage, and charisma. No other unit in Grozovia has demonstrated these three tenets more so than the 1st Lybor Combined Rifles, 9th Motorized Regiment.
In a display of unwavering courage and indomitable spirit, the 9th Motorized Regiment emerged as the shining beacon of heroism in the conflict against the Traitors Republic. The valiant efforts of these brave soldiers have captured the hearts and admiration of the nation, showcasing the true essence of Grozovia’s fighting spirit. From their original posting in the heart of the Lybor among the Solveka Mountains. All the way to the western side of our nation, where among the bombed out ruins of Pecher, these heroes have crushed the last of the GPR.
Among the mountains of Lybor, the 9th Motorized were stationed in several military installations including the famous Stasov Radar Base. When the November attacks began, 9th Motorized units were besieged by hundreds of militia fighters. However, through cunning maneuvers and a warrior spirit, the 9th Motorized was able to drive back the cowardly traitors. With communication outages across the nation, the 9th under their own directives, went to the aid of their comrades in the Korsac Oblast near the Rostock International Airfield.
In a resounding display of Grozovian bravery, the 9th relieved their besieged comrades of the 43rd Air Assault surrounded within the Rostock International Airfield, pushing through several kilometers of fortified territory. Inflicting crushing damage to GPR lines, the 9th forced the GPR to retreat into the forests North of Rostock International Airfield. As the war progressed the 9th continued to show Grozovian spirit in its continuous actions against the traitorous republic culminating in a decisive battle.
9th Motorized elements had entrenched themselves with the GPR doing the same in opposing positions. The plan was to draw out the GPR and crush their cowardly hides under the roar of Grozovian treads and Chernarussian air power. Despite facing a force double their strength, the 9th shattered the coward’s attack and over the course of an hour. Surrounded, captured, and annihilated any remaining GPR forces in the region.
Although the GPR had surrendered by this point, fanatical remnants still hid in the ruins of Pecher. Every breath the traitors took was an insult, one that would not go unanswered. The 9th Motorized, now reunited with the rest of its division, had dedicated themselves to searching every ruin, every sewer, and every village in the area surrounding the city of Pecher until the last of the vermin were eliminated.
For the honor, courage, and charisma of the soldiers of the 9th Motorized, the 9th will join the 43rd Air Assault of Korsac, and the 4th armored regiment of Beketov in receiving awards and honors this upcoming weekend during a ceremony in Pecher by none other than President Leonid Kotenko.
